Asian School in Economic Theory, Tokyo 2023

We are pleased to announce that the Graduate School of Economics of Keio University will host the Asian School in Economic Theory (used to be known as Summer School of Econometric Society) in Tokyo, Japan, July 31-August 4, 2023.  

Lecturers are (in alphabetical order) Sylvain Chassang (Princeton University), In-Koo Cho (Emory University), Marina Halac (Yale University), Debraj Ray (New York University), Ariel Rubinstein (Tel Aviv University and New York University) and Rani Spiegler (Tel Aviv University and UCL). In addition to lectures, we organize workshops where a selected group of participating students can present their research. The application period has closed.

The admission decision will be notified individually. Information about scholarships and registration will become available around the same time. The Asian School in Economic Theory will be in the in-person format, which will be subject to the approval by Keio University. In-person participation will also be subject to the regulations imposed by the Japanese government at the time. We will monitor the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic with a close consultation with the local host and announce our decision accordingly, as needed.
