We are pleased to announce that 2024 Africa Meeting of the Econometric Society (AFES 2024) will be hosted by Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Statistique et d'Economie Appliquée (ENSEA, Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire) from June 5-8, 2024. The conference will be preceded by the Africa Summer School in Econometrics (ASSE 2024).

ENSEA is situated in the Municipality of Cocody, along Avenue des Grandes Ecoles.

ENSEA is located in the Municipality of Cocody, along Avenue des Grandes Ecoles.

Transport from the airport to the hotel is the participants' responsibility. Participants can:

Arrange a shuttle bus through their hotel, if available.
Utilize one of the transportation options mentioned below.
Employ the services of a shuttle agency like LilaneMice (Contact Mrs. KOUASSI Blandine at abkouassi@lilanemice.com).

Local transportation options include:

Private car hire companies (Yango, Uber, Heetch): These are highly recommended. Participants are advised to download and register on these apps in advance.
Inter-municipality taxicabs (orange and white or solely orange).

For participants staying in recommended hotels, shuttle buses will be provided from the hotels to ENSEA in the morning and from ENSEA to the hotels at the end of the day. Departure and return times will be communicated later. Any additional transportation during the day will be at your own arrangement.

To facilitate travel, participants are encouraged to purchase a local SIM card (available at airport mobile phone network stands). Telephone operators offer mobile and/or data packages.
